After 10 years in healthcare, working side by side with physicians in the Vancouver area, Piper decided to go back to school and enhance her healthcare career. Taking her career down this healing path of massage therapy has been an amazing part of her life. Piper is passionate about providing massage therapy to local cancer patients and helping them on their journey of healing and health. Piper also uses SRT in her practice daily which provides people a very passive and less painful way to reduce muscle spasm and reset muscle memory. As the founder of Essence of Health, Piper takes pride in the therapists that work at Essence and the fact that they have come together to offer you their very best massage therapy.

Cathy is a certified and licensed massage therapist, in both Oregon and Washington. After 15 years in the field of Human Resources Management, she is acutely aware of the stresses today's fast paced life and need for balance place on all of us. She has a passion for Injury Rehab, Therapeutic and Hot Stone Therapy. Cathy also specializes in a healing & detoxifying therapy called, Raindrop Therapy. Helping people get relief from pain and the stresses of daily life is her mission.

Karen Wright, LMP
After an extensive career working in Clark County District Court assisting people in domestic violence court processes, Karen chose to change career paths to allow her to help people heal on a deeper level. Karen graduated with perfect attendance and a 4.0 GPA from Ashmead Massage School in 2007. Karen loves and respects the healing power of touch and she believes that we all have the power to heal ourselves from within, given the proper tools. Karen specializes in relaxation and deep tissue therapeutic techniques used to help relax, distress, detoxify, and ultimately work towards an inner balance of the body.

Amy Wyenberg, LMP
Amy is a wife and new mom who graduated from Ashmead College and has been practicing massage since November 2004 with extended training in Sports and Therapeutic Massage. She really enjoys seeing the incredible changes massage can bring to the body and strives to make each massage exactly what that person needs that day.
